EOCHS is in Section 2
The New Jersey State Interscholastic Athletic Association recently released its reclassifications for the 2010-11 school year for postseason tournaments. East Orange Campus High School has been moved from Section 1 to Section 2 in North Jersey for general sports and football.
The Jaguars’ varsity teams enjoyed great success in Section 1 this past school year. The football team advanced to the Section 1 championship game at Giants Stadium, losing to Roxbury. Both the boys’ and girls’ basketball teams won their respective sectional titles, with the boys beating Paterson Kennedy and the girls topping Montclair in the finals.
The baseball and softball teams also qualified for their sectional tournaments for the first time.
