The East Orange Panthers, Orange Youth Tornadoes, and the rest of the Twin Valley Football Conference will open up their football camps for registrations this week and next to start preparations for the upcoming
2010 Twin Valley Football Conference and New Jersey Unlimited Weight Youth
Football Association.

Orange will be defending its 2009 Conference and State titles this year as it began tryouts July 6. The Panthers also will start their tryouts next week. Both programs are accepting applications and registration at their
respective practice fields. The Orange Youth Tornadoes will be holding their
tryouts and registration at Orange’s
Bell Stadium from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

The Panthers will have their practice sessions at Elmwood Park, located at 128 Elmwood Ave. in East Orange.
“Participants should come out in proper attire,” stated Keith Pressey, Director
of Orange Recreation and Tyrone Miles, President of the East Orange Panthers.
They both stated that each participant should wear a T-shirt, shorts, and
cleats. “If you do not have cleats, please make sure your child has a pair of
sneakers that would support them” said Coach Miles.

“Football season is almost here and we are ready to get started,” exclaimed an excited Pressey. “We ran the tables last season and we are ready to do it again.” Coach Miles stated that he is looking forward to a
competitive season and hopes that his squad can stop Orange while keeping an eye on arch foe Jersey
City Jets. For more information on either team, please contact Pressey and
his staff for the Orange Youth Tornadoes at the Orange Recreation Department at 973-266-4045; and Miles for the East
Orange Panthers at 201-341-3933.
